Ok, I was delusional.
Day 1: I barely did 40 push-ups and 30 sit-ups.
Day 2: Sore all over. Could only do 10 push-ups and nearly died. Couldn’t do sit-ups at all. Did I mention out of shape?
Day 3: Same as day 2.
Things got a little better starting day 4, but it’s gonna be a while before I build some muscles so that I don’t have to take rest days. I am still hoping that I can get to 300 pu/day and 50 su/day by day 15 and 500/100 by day 30. Since I was out of shape when I started this experiment, I knew that this would be a huge physical challenge. But because I was so out of shape at the beginning, this is turning out to be a huge challenge on my mental toughness as well, which was the point of the Jeff Haden’s original experiment.
I will grind this out. And I will post updates at least once a month.
